Basic Information

The department of Plant Pathology was established in year 1961 at College of
Agriculture,Vellayani. M.Sc. programme and Ph.D. programme also started in the
same year.One professor,one Associate professor and two Assistant professors are
currently working in this department .The total number of seats
offered for PG and Ph.D. is 10&3 respectively.The department provides strong
academic guidance and assistance to the students

Facilities include 2 UG Practical halls, 1 Seminar hall, 1 Protein lab and Tissue culture
lab,1 Mycoherbicide lab,1 AICRP mushroom lab, 3 PG labs and Advanced Centre For
Plant Disease Diagnosis.
