Third place for the whole business strategy for developing an innovative and alternative food packaging material - The National Food and Agribusiness Conclave 2023
From the department of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, four students viz., Ashir K., Ameera Vappukannu Ashraf, Athira N. S., and Jasna Sherin PT of B.Sc.-M.Sc. (Integrated) Biotechnology competed in the Agri Start Up competition category conducted by The National Food and Agribusiness Conclave 2023, or "Sambhramaa," introduced by the Imperial Institute of Agri-Business (ISAB). They secured third place for the whole business strategy for developing an innovative and alternative food packaging material made from agricultural waste that would lengthen the shelf life of food products.

Shalu Saseendran and Sonu Elin John, 2019 admission, B.Sc- M.Sc (Integrated) Biotechnology, College of Agriculture, Vellayani won the FOURTH position in "Bioethics Group Discussion" organised by IIT, Delhi on 05th March 2023. Eighteen teams were short-listed for the final round.
