Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala – The College of Agriculture, Vellayani, recently hosted two major sports events: "Kurukshetra" Inter-Batch Sports and Faculty Sports Day. Organized by the Lalind Students Union 2023-24 and the Department of Physical Education, these events promoted sportsmanship and community spirit. Kurukshetra featured diverse athletic contests among students, while Faculty Sports Day, held on July 18, 2024, included competitions like races, long jump, and volleyball for faculty members in two age categories. Both events underscored the commitment of the college to holistic development and reinforced the importance of physical education in academia.
