Allan Thomas, Dr.

Dr. Allan Thomas is Professor and Head of the Department of Agricultural Extension Education at the College of Agriculture, Vellayani. His specialisation is Agricultural Extension. He holds a B.Sc. (Ag), M.Sc. (Ag), and Ph.D., all majoring in Agricultural Extension from Kerala Agricultural University. He joined KAU service in 2005 and has received Best Paper Awards at the Indian Biodiversity Congress 2014 and ECOCASD Conference 2014. He has completed two externally funded projects on biodiversity, supported by the Department of Environment, Climate Change, and the Kerala State Council for Science, Technology, and Environment. He has a special interest in soft skill training and student counselling.
