Nasiyas Beegum A. N. is Assistant Professor in the Department of Agricultural Entomology at the College of Agriculture, Vellayani. Her specialisation is Biological Control of Insect Pests and Host Plant Resistance. Her research focuses on biological control of insect pests, and she has expertise in crop production, protection, and processing technology for cashew. She is also skilled in the formulation of biocontrol agents, DNA barcoding, sample collection, rearing of different life stages of insects, and pest forecasting. She is currently engaged primarily in teaching and extension activities within the department.
