The JRF toppers of 2025 were felicitated on 26 September 2025 at the College of Agriculture, Vellayani. The Dean of Faculty, Dr. Jacob John, distributed certificates to 26 students who secured ranks below 100 in the national examination.

As part of the observance of Kerala Agricultural University (KAU) Technology Day, a special program was organized at the farm of Shri Sirajudeen in Madavoor Grama Panchayat.
The program was inaugurated by Shri M. Biju Kumar, President, Madavoor Grama Panchayat. Smt. Sujeena Maktoom, Ward Member, presided over the function. The welcome address was delivered by the Agricultural Officer, followed by congratulations from Smt. Sabitha SR, Assistant Director of Agriculture.

78.23 ഹെക്ടർ ഉദ്യാനഭൂമിയും 173.50 ഹെക്ടർ കായൽ ഭൂമിയും ഉൾപ്പെടെ 253 ഹെക്ടർ വിസ്തൃതിയുള്ള വെള്ളായണി കാർഷിക കോളേജ് ക്യാമ്പസ്സിൽ പ്രകൃതിദത്ത സസ്യജന്തുജാലങ്ങളെ സംരക്ഷിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് ജൈവവൈവിധ്യ സംരക്ഷണത്തിനായി ഒട്ടനവധി പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളാണ് നടത്തിവരുന്നത്. കല്ലിയൂർ ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്തിന്റെ 'എ' ഗ്രേഡ് ലഭിച്ച ഗ്രീൻ പ്രോട്ടോക്കോൾ പാലിക്കുന്ന സ്ഥാപനമാണ് വെള്ളായണി കാർഷിക കോളേജ്. ജലസംഭരണം, സോളാർ പാനൽ ഇൻസ്റ്റലേഷനുകൾ, മാലിന്യ വസ്തുക്കളുടെ കമ്പോസ്റ്റിംഗ് എന്നിവയിലൂടെ ലഭ്യമായ എല്ലാ വിഭവങ്ങളുടെയും സുസ്ഥിര ഉപയോഗം ഈ സ്റ്റേഷൻ ഉറപ്പാക്കുന്നു.
The College of Agriculture, Vellayani has been awarded the ISO 21001:2018 certification by TÜV India (TÜV NORD Group), accredited by the National Accreditation Board for Certification Bodies (NABCB) under the Quality Council of India (QCI). College of Agriculture Vellayani which was established in 1955, is organizing one week platinum jubilee celebrations from 22" to 29" May 2025. This international seminar, organised as the part of platinum jubilee celebrations, aims to bring together policymakers, researchers, academicians, practitioners, entrepreneurs and community leaders to deliberate on innovative policies, technologies and community-led solutions for advancing sustainable urban and peri-urban agriculture (UPA).
The College of Agriculture, Vellayani has been honoured with the Green Campus Award by the Kalliyoor Grama Panchayat as part of the Janakeeya Kayikam Mela.
