Dr.Mini C

Dr. Mini. C, joined KAU in 1995, has been working as Head, Dept of Postharvest Management, COA, Vellayani from 10.12.2011 onwards. Her fields of specialization include value addition in cashew apple, osmo-dehydration, spray drying technology, fresh cut fruit and vegetable production and vegetable seed production. She has standardized seed processing techniques for different cucurbitaceous crops and fourteen different technologies on fruit and vegetable processing, including seven cashew apple products. She published 3 books and more than 70 research papers in peer reviewed journals; has received awards for poster presentations in different symposia, seminars etc. and Netherlands Fellowship for attending a training programme at Wageningen, Netherlands in 2013. She has also guided 3 Ph.D, 15 P.G. students and has completed 9 different research and development projects.
