Personality Development programmes in the college ultimately aim at increasing the employability of the students and for this, the Placement Cell in the college has conducted several programmes during 2014-19 period:
- Orientation programme in collaboration with Alumni Association of College of Agriculture for PG students appearing for competitive exams.
- Arranged student participation in the exhibition on career guidance and Psycho Social Services which was organized by Dept of Social Justice, Govt. of Kerala at Central Stadium, Trivandrum from March 09 &10, 2017.
- Career guidance services were organized during the Vishukkani exhibition organized by Trivandrum Corporation at Thiruvananthapuram from 20.04.17 to 05.05.17 and at RARS, Ambalavayal during April 9-14, 2017.
- Orientation programme for UG students including a session on Career Prospects in Agriculture on 12.10.17
- Interaction programme with Fullbright team, at Karshakabhavan, Vellanikkara, organized by DSW at College of Agriculture, Vellayani on 17.03.18.
- Career counselling session for UG students was organized in collaboration with TIME Thiruvananthapuram on 10.05.2018
- The campus interview in collaboration with IFFCO KISSAN for the post of Farm Tele Advisors was conducted in the Seminar Hall College of Agriculture, Vellayani on 24.07.18. Three candidates were placed as Farm Tele Advisors based on the tests.
