Joined Kerala Agricultural University as Assistant Professor of Plant Physiology at RARS, Pattambi during 2009. B.Sc.(Ag) and M.Sc.(Ag) from Kerala Agricultural University and Ph.D. from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore. She has three years research experience in development of molecular markers at the Department of Crop Physiology, UAS, Bangalore and seven years of research experience in rice stress physiology. Major research areas include stress physiology, development of molecular markers, QTL and association mapping technique. Mobilized funds from various national agencies and has 15 research publications. Her area of specialization includes Abiotic Stress Physiology - Molecular markers linked to physiological traits, Seed Physiology-Microgravity studies
